294 accident today
A fatal crash involving a semi-truck and three other vehicles occurred on northbound I-294 near O’Hare International Airport late Wednesday night, December 3, 2025. The lanes were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
According to the Illinois State Police:
- The personal injury crash occurred around 7:17 p.m. near Balmoral Avenue in Rosemont.
- All northbound lanes were shut down for an extended period to allow for investigation and cleanup.
- The lanes were reopened around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025.
